Donald Joseph Qualls better known by his stage name DJ Qualls was born in the USA. He is an actor, producer and model. After becoming famous through his performances in Road Trip and The New Guy Hustle & Flow the actor has appeared in more than 20 feature movies including The Core. In addition, he has appeared on over 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma and diagnosed at the age of 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. Within two years the cancer is now into Remission. But, initial treatment was very detrimental on his health as well as stunted development. Financial security became his main goal once he got started because he had experienced poverty all through his childhood. He said in an interview that he stated that if I do not have money security or feel out of control in the world, then I'm going to be miserable. He thinks back to his early years, and is driven by the desire to act against bullying. The cruelty of bullying breaks my heart, DJ says. The best role for DJ is that of a real father. However, he acknowledges that directors don't have me as a character. One day he'd love to have a kid so that he could devote less time on his career in order to spend more time with the newborn.
